Dr. Marilyn Pendelton, EdD is the founder and CEO of Your Voice Heard, LLC, which she established in 2009, whose mission is to holistically and innovatively Leverage Data with Compassion™ . Utilizing The Grief Recovery Method® & Socio-Emotional Learning in Workforce Training, we (1) help individuals recover emotionally from traumatic events and other losses, and (2) equip leaders, businesses, and school communities with transformative
socio-emotional capacity.

The YVH vision is to heal, inspire, educate and empower individuals, executive leaders, and organizations, helping them to be resilient and fully engaged in every aspect of life as they connect with local, national, and international partnerships.
Dr. Pendelton is a sought after speaker, Adjunct Professor at Gwynedd Mercy University, a Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist®, a Registered Nurse, Legal Nurse Consultant, and a  Transformational Leader. She has held leadership roles in health care, workforce development, and education in the private and not-for-profit sectors.

She received her Bachelors in nursing and Masters degrees from Widener University and holds an EdD in educational leadership from Gwynedd Mercy University having presented research at the 2018  Pennsylvania Association of Colleges and Teacher Educators Conference and the 2019 8th International Research Methods Summer School in Ireland. November 2019, Dr. Pendelton was an invited plenary speaker at the 6 th Annual SENIA (Special Education Network and Inclusion Association) Conference held in Penang, Malaysia. During the COVID-19 pandemic she has presented virtually to academic,  community, and global audiences.

Dr. Pendelton is The WISE Fund Governing Secretary. She is a member of The Philadelphia Department of Public Health’s COVID Racial Equity Committee, the Health Equity Advisory Committee, the International Association of Women – Philadelphia Chapter, Philadelphia Girls
Rowing Club and participates on various boards and committees
